Apart from my irrational need to adjust every object so it sits symetrically with all others in its vicinity I also cannot help buying or collecting two or more of just about everything. I dont know when this started but when filling in a household insurance quote I realized what I had been buying and was really shocked.

2 TV's, thats tellies for the dirty minded which is understandable, but not both in the same room. Two DAB radios in same room, three computers in same room, 3 tripods ditto, in facty all is in the one room & I dont live in a bedsit.
7 mobile fones, 2 BT fones, 8 digital cameras, 2 6-in-1 computer sound systems, 3 printers, no 4 just spotted another one! 2 paper trimmers & 2 laminators, 2 MP3 players........need I go on?
The last straw has got to be the two 4x4 suv's, dont ask me why, I bought one & liked it so much I just had to buy another one.....

Am I the only person like this in the whole wide world?

Be right back, theres a guy in a white coat at the front door....

Now that isnt a problem until the next day when there aren't any clean ones left.

DILEMMA....no socks and go commando......no chance.

I hunted through the used ones & found what appeared to be the cleanest and put them on. It was awful, I felt really dirty but carried on doing this each day until the cheque came through & I could go to the launderette.

To this day I vividly remember wearing dirty or should I say used underwear and yesterdays sweaty socks.....I feel sick now thinking about it.

That is why I am the proud owner of over 500 pairs of socks and 400 pairs of pants.
If a nuclear war breaks out I can still awaken every morning safe in the knowledge that I can wear a clean pair of pants and socks every day for over a year.
So comforting.....ahhhhh
